Our Mission

Welcome to ClimbforConservation.org.  We are a 501(c)(3) Public Charity, EIN: 27-3118371.  Our mission is simple: we climb mountains around the world for critical conservation causes.

Conservation is about an ethic of using resources wisely. We believe in maintaining the health of the natural world. Our efforts focus on raising awareness for land, water, and wildlife conservation.

We want to inspire people already climbing mountains, to do it for a cause. Each climb we organize will focus awareness on a specific conservation issue near the mountain being climbed. For example, our kick-off climb up Mt Kilimanjaro, helped raise funds for the critically endangered Rhinos in Africa.

There is no doubt that climate change is threatening our planet with unprecedented loss of wildlife and wild places. According to recent studies, unless we take action now, human activities and climate-related change could drive one-half of all species to extinction between now and 2100.
