WE BELIEVE IN CHANGE
Welcome to Climb for Conservation, Inc. We are a 501(c)(3) Public Charity, EIN: 27-3118371.
“Our mission is to climb mountains around the world for a conservation cause!”
What is conservation?
Conservation is about an ethic of using resources wisely. We believe in maintaining the health of the natural world. Our efforts focus on raising awareness conservation issues, specifically wildlife and endangered species.
According to recent studies, unless we take action now, 1/2 of all species on Earth will be extinct by 2100!
While natural extinction of species takes place continuously throughout history, it has also been estimated that the current extinction rates are around 1,000 times higher than normal rate.
Climb a Mountain + Educate + Raise Awareness + Fundraise
Since our kick-off climb in 2012, we have donated close to $300,000 to protect critically endangered, vulnerable, and threatened species such as the African Black Rhino, African Elephant, Jaguar, the Andean Bear, and the Bumble Bee.
The trek to the summit of Mt. Rainier proved to be one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences I have ever had. With Madison Mountaineering as our guide, the C4C team made it to the summit safely and had a whole of fun along the way as we literally leaped over crevasses. Click here to read full testimonial.
