The Northern Pantanal is on fire and needs our help. In an effort to help and support the people of the Pantanal that are like family to us, this fund was created through Climb for Conservation, by April Kelly and Abbie Martin, of the Jaguar Identification Project, in partnership with Panthera.
Ultimately, Rainier was a mountain and we successfully climbed it. Yet, that seemingly elusive feeling of great accomplishment, personal growth and feeling alive is one that will keep me climbing for many more treks.
C4C TREK IN BRAZIL, FALL 2018 Climb for Conservation is very excited to announce that we will be designing and organizing a C4C Trek in Brazil for Fall 2018 in conjunction with a world renowned scientist and conservation organization for the preservation of jaguars. This will be our first time to Brazil
The Jaguar population has decreased 96% due to habitat loss and poaching! Now listed as Near Threatened, heading towards endangered, on the IUCN Red List. Long revered for its hunting prowess and strength, has also been feared for the same reasons, even though jaguars have rarely attacked humans.
